Professional Kitchen Ventilation - 3 Different Systems
What's important to you? Noise? Efficiency? Slim Hood Design? Noise and efficiency are effected by the installation - distance to blower, number of turns, design. ABBAKA is the only company without the bias of offering only one solution. Call us for a recommendation on your kitchen ventilation.
Choosing The Right Kitchen Ventilation System
Interior Ventilation - use if
duct run is straight or short
exhaust outlet at outside of house is in aesthetic or noise-sensitive location
simplest installation desired!
Hy-Ex™ Exterior Ventilation – use if
duct run is long, has many turns, or is restricted
Cooktop or range is professional style or large- 48”, 60” or more
hood design is low profile
the ultimate low kitchen noise system is desired!
Attic (In-Line) Ventilation – use if
duct run is long, has many turns or is restricted
cooking equipment is professional style or large
exhaust outlet is at outside of house in aesthetic or noise-sensitive location
a minimum of one elbow, plus 15’ of ducting between hood and ventilator
recommended to achieve minimum motor noise benefit!
Attic (in-line)
The best of both worlds? The noise isolated in the attic and a roof cap,
only, on the roof. The blower is adjustable from 0 to 100% and is
offered with a accoustical filter. 800-1200 CFM - higher capacity offered
for +66"W hood
Hy-Ex™ Exterior Wall/Roof Mount
Move the motor noise from inside the hood to outside the house.
The roof or outside wall-mounted ventilators are offered in 1000 and 1400 CFM*.
*higher capacity offered for +66”W hood.
Interior (built in)
The simplest of installations. A good choice for a wall mount hood if the outside wall borders a patio or deck. Offered in 600 CFM and 1200 CFM capacities.
